I Will

I Will is a moving tribute to all those whose lives have been touched by memory loss and dementia. Bringing to life a powerful poem written by dementia support and awareness advocate Michele DeSocio, this work takes listeners on a journey through the myriad of complex emotions felt when caring for a loved one experiencing memory loss, beautifully capturing the fragility of memory and the resilience of love.

This piece was commissioned by The Knolls of Oxford and premiered on November 19, 2024 by Miami University Men's Glee Club at Then Sings My Soul: When Music Meets Memory in Oxford, Ohio, USA.
