Playing into Silence

Playing Into Silence, for soprano and string orchestra, brings to life three texts from Nanaimo Poet Laureate Tina Biello’s narrative book of poetry of the same name exploring themes of memory, trauma, and self-discovery. It was commissioned and premiered by the Vancouver Island Symphony Orchestra with soprano soloist Dory Hayley at "Electrifying Eroica".

A recording of this work will be released in the near future...stay tuned!
