Rain on a Tin Roof
Rain on a Tin Roof is an open score composition (variable/open instrumentation) intended for spatialized performance by an ensemble of 3 or more performers. The music mirrors the progression of a rainstorm falling on a metal roof — from sporadic droplets to a torrent of activity before evaporating back into the sky.
This work was commissioned by Redshift Music Society and Ecstatic Waves and premiered on October 17, 2017, at the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Please note, when purchasing this work the score packet includes several options of clefs and transpositions: treble clef, bass clef, alto clef, score in B-flat, score in F, and score in E-flat. You'll receive all these 'parts' in your packet and may print what you need for your ensemble.
